Beautiful Does Not Equal Happiness

Many people think they will be happy if they are beautiful. They think that people will love them. I've heard of women getting plastic surgery because they think it will make their lover love them. None of this is true.

Beauty (or love) is not a weapon that is used by one person to control another. That is abuse. If one person thinks they must be beautiful to please or keep another's interest, then the beauty has become a controlling tool.

This person will never reach a point where they feel beautiful. Their abuser will not let them. Look at the modeling world. Those women are the most beautiful in the world, but they don't feel it. The modeling world is ripe with stories of models who loath themselves because they are not beautiful enough.

So, what is beauty? It is something personal. It is something that belongs to us. We own it exclusively. It doesn't belong to anyone else. It is not for anyone else's pleasure.

This lesson must be learned before anyone can feel beautiful.
